Award-Winning Colorado Chef Partners with National Restaurant Group to Launch Two New Dining Concepts in Cherry Creek
A highly acclaimed Colorado chef with an impressive background in fine dining is joining forces with a national restaurant group to introduce two innovative dining experiences in a forthcoming development in Cherry Creek.
Brian Lockwood, who has honed his culinary skills at renowned establishments such as The French Laundry, Frasca Food & Wine, Eleven Madison Park, and The NoMad, is teaming up with the Boka Restaurant Group. The Boka Restaurant Group, known for its successful collaborations with top chefs across the country, has a portfolio of nearly 30 restaurants, including popular venues like Momotaro, Boka, and Girl & The Goat in Chicago, Elliott Aster in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Laser Wolf in Brooklyn.
In a feature by JS in July 2024, Lockwood was highlighted for his role as a consultant on season 3 of FXâs âThe Bear,â where he mentored actor Jeremy Allen White. Reflecting on the experience, Lockwood shared, âWe were able to just spend a week together going through these techniques, from chopping and fish butchery to citrus segmenting and kitchen etiquette.”
Further information about the upcoming dining establishments, including their names and culinary themes, will be revealed later this summer. These establishments will be situated on the ground floor and rooftop of 2nd & Adams, a mixed-use development set to be finalized in the first quarter of 2026.
A native of Boulder, Lockwood returned to his roots in Colorado during the pandemic, bringing his expertise back to the local culinary scene.
Established in 2002 by James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm, the Boka Restaurant Group continues to push boundaries in the dining industry.
