Outdoor Voices is making a comeback, and founder Tyler Haney is leading the charge. After stepping away from the brand for five years, Haney is officially back as founder, partner, and co-owner. Working alongside Consortium, led by managing partner Cory Baker, Haney is excited to bring her vision back to life.

While some may see this as a relaunch, Haney prefers to view it as a revitalization of the brand. With all stores closed last year and the product assortment feeling outdated, Haney is ready to breathe new life into Outdoor Voices. Partnering with Emmett Shine of Pattern Brands, known for his work with Hims, Harry’s, and Recess, the brand’s branding and product offerings are getting a much-needed refresh.

The new collection will be available for purchase on August 5th, giving customers a taste of Haney’s vision for athleticwear in today’s market. With Gen Z embracing looser silhouettes for working out, Haney is eager to see how her designs will resonate with this trend.

Haney’s goal for Outdoor Voices remains the same – to be the top recreation brand in the world. She wants to move away from the term ‘athleisure’ and focus on creating functional yet stylish pieces. By incorporating more natural materials alongside technical fabrics, Outdoor Voices is catering to the growing demand for sustainable fashion.

Key pieces in the new collection include updated versions of classics like the Court Skort and Exercise Dress, as well as new additions like the Energy Dress. Haney is particularly excited about this dress, with its sophisticated design and A-line cut. Other standout pieces include a fitted cardigan and an oversized button-down shirt, adding versatility to the Outdoor Voices lineup.

Overall, the new collection pushes boundaries and embraces boldness in design. From low-cut spandex shorts to tube tops, the pieces are designed to mix and match effortlessly. With former creative director Tiffany Wilkinson back on board, the brand is in good hands as it embarks on this new chapter.
