Zelensky expressed his willingness to engage in direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in order to bring an end to the three-year war between their countries.

Kyiv:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed in a recent interview that he would be open to direct negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the ongoing conflict between the two nations.

When asked about the prospect of facing Putin at the negotiating table, Zelensky stated, “If that is the only way to achieve peace for the people of Ukraine and prevent further loss of life, then we are willing to pursue this option,” emphasizing the need for other parties to be involved in the discussions as well.

The interview, conducted by British journalist Piers Morgan, was shared on YouTube.
