In a recent episode of *The View*, comedian Bill Burr has taken a sharp turn towards the far left, igniting conversations about the implications of wealth and technology. Just weeks prior, he controversially suggested that billionaires deserve to be treated like rabid dogs—a metaphor that certainly raises eyebrows.

This time, Burr has set his sights on tech mogul Elon Musk, joining the Hollywood trend of critiquing the billionaire with wild conspiracy theories. During his appearance, he labeled Musk as a “nerd” and claimed that the entrepreneur is on a path to devastate the planet.

While Musk is celebrated for pioneering one of the most successful electric vehicle companies and pushing the boundaries of space exploration with ambitions for Mars colonization, Burr seems to think he holds the intellectual high ground.

According to FOX News:

During the show, Burr expressed his disdain for Musk, asserting that the billionaire’s lack of concern for Earth will lead to its destruction. When co-host Joy Behar asked him if anyone has been particularly annoying lately, Burr replied, ā€œthe nerds,ā€ elaborating on his views about tech billionaires. He suggested that these individuals are more interested in building robots to compensate for their social shortcomings with women, and he fears they may eventually take control of the world.

ā€œI think Elon has got the rockets going because they realize there are other Earths out there, and they’re going to trash this one,ā€ Burr continued. ā€œThey don’t have any concern for it, and they’re going to move on to the next Earth while we’re left here in our blue and red ties, wondering what went wrong.ā€

While the phenomenon of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” has been widely discussed, it seems there’s a new ailment in the air: “Elon Musk Derangement Syndrome.” Once a darling of the left, Musk’s shift towards some of Trump’s policies has apparently alienated him from his former supporters.
