UnitedHealthcare workers pay tribute to slain CEO Brian Thompson

UnitedHealthcare employees mourned the tragic loss of CEO Brian Thompson, who was fatally shot by a masked assailant outside a Manhattan hotel.

Thompson, affectionately known as “BT” to his colleagues, was highly esteemed for his leadership at UnitedHealth. With 20 years of service, he oversaw various key business sectors.

One employee, Betuchy Galeano, described Thompson as a humble, kind, and lively individual who made everyone feel valued. His positivity was infectious, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

Victoria Claire, a medical coder, lamented the loss of a compassionate advocate for employees and members. Thompson’s commitment to compassion and appreciation was deeply appreciated.

Kelly Kamish, a project manager, praised Thompson as an exceptional leader and person, expressing sorrow for his family, friends, and colleagues. His presence was truly valued by those who knew him.

Monica Moore extended her condolences to Thompson’s family, recalling his humble nature and the impact he had on those he met. Rest in peace, BT.

Antonio Toft, a vice president at UnitedHealthcare, reflected on Thompson’s remarkable leadership and mentorship, emphasizing the profound loss felt by the community. Thompson’s contributions and positive influence will be remembered.
