Unscripted Rape Scene Traumatized Nearby Kid Actors!!!

Kevin Costner is facing a lawsuit from a stunt performer over an unscripted rape scene in his anthology series “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2”. The incident has also reportedly traumatized child actors on set.
Devyn LaBella filed the lawsuit, alleging that she was the victim of a violent unscripted rape scene directed by Costner on May 2, 2023. This unexpected and graphic scene has caused distress among the cast and crew.
A production source revealed that the unscripted rape scene was filmed near child actors without any prior notice. The sudden and explicit nature of the scene left the young actors scared and upset.
The lack of warning for such a disturbing moment caused distress among the children, who heard a woman screaming during the scene without understanding what was happening.

LaBella, known for her work on “Barbie” and “American Horror Story”, claims that there was no intimacy coordinator present on set for the unscripted assault. The lawsuit accuses Costner and the production companies of negligence and recklessness.
The following day, there were reports of discomfort among the actors involved in the unscripted scene. The incident was kept secretive, raising concerns about the handling of such sensitive content on set.
Costner’s attorney, Marty Singer, has dismissed the lawsuit’s claims, stating that they hold no merit. He emphasized Costner’s commitment to ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for all cast and crew members.
While Costner is praised for his professionalism, the lack of warning for the graphic scene is seen as a serious breach of protocol and a sign of disrespect towards the cast and crew, especially the young actors.
Efforts to obtain a comment from New Line Cinema regarding the incident have been unsuccessful thus far.
