The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season has seen twelve races so far, with Kyle Larson from Hendrick Motorsports emerging as the winner of the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway on Sunday, May 11.
Larson put on a dominating performance at Kansas, winning both stages and leading 221 of the 267 laps to claim his third victory of the season at the 1.5-mile track. This win propelled Larson to the top of the Cup Series points table with 469 points, while his teammate William Byron, who finished 24th at Kansas, slipped to second place with 434 points, 35 points behind Larson.
Christopher Bell, who finished as the runner-up at Kansas, gained 49 points and moved up to third place in the points standings with 384 points. Chris Buescher, who started on the front row but finished in eighth place, gained 29 points and is currently 12th in the standings with 284 points. Defending champion Joey Logano finished ninth at Kansas, earning 30 points and moving up to ninth place with 318 points.
