The Startling Revelation of Elleshia Seymour’s Beliefs
The ex-husband of Elleshia Seymour, a Utah mother who allegedly abducted her four children and fled to Europe, expressed shock at her bizarre beliefs, which he only discovered through her secret TikTok account.
Kendall Seymour, who shares three children with Elleshia, stated that she had not exhibited signs of her paranoid worldview during their marriage or divorce proceedings.
Elleshia reportedly took her children on a one-way flight from Salt Lake City to Croatia on Nov. 30, believing that the “end times” were approaching, according to the father.
“I didn’t know about any of these ideas of hers until a couple of weeks ago when someone found her TikTok account,” Kendall told KSL-TV.
“She thinks Salt Lake is going to be destroyed and she is trying to get the kids to safety. My only hope is that she is motivated to protect them,” he said.
“There were no signs of that when we were married or divorced in the last five years,” he added.
Elleshia was seen leading the couple’s three children, along with a fourth child from a previous relationship, through a terminal at Salt Lake International Airport, as reported by ABC 4.
The Utah Department of Public Safety issued an endangered and missing advisory on Dec. 10 for Landon Hal Seymour, 11; Levi Parker Seymour, 8; Hazel Rae Seymour, 7; and Jacob Kurt Brady, 3.
Elleshia has been charged with four counts of custodial interference, a third-degree felony, according to the Utah State Legislature.
Kendall revealed that his ex-wife forged passport documents for the kids and left behind two ominous notes at home.
One note contained a delusional message from God promising her she would be in Italy by Christmas, while the other was a to-do list that included discarding her phone and buying a prepaid phone.
Kendall’s last interaction with his children was between Nov. 24 and 25 when he dropped them off at school at the beginning of their scheduled custody time with their mother.
Days later, he received a call from a childcare worker inquiring why the children had not arrived at daycare.
A welfare search took place on Dec. 2 after Elleshia’s colleagues reported her absence from work and lack of response to messages.
On the same day, Elleshia left a voicemail for one of the fathers, stating that she was already in France with the children, according to the police.
She purportedly mentioned planning to obtain permanent residence in Europe and justified taking her children by citing the impending apocalypse.
“She’s been planning this because she took off on Nov. 30 during my long custody break for Thanksgiving,” Kendall remarked.
“It has been three weeks now. She has no family in Europe. As far as I know, no contacts out there,” he added.
