Variety’s “Actors on Actors” Season 22 has proven to be the most successful social campaign ever for an Emmys season. The video series, which features actors engaging in conversations with each other to discuss the top contenders of awards season, garnered a total of 98.2 million views across various social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X. This surpasses the viewership numbers from last year’s “Actors on Actors” for the Emmys season. The social campaign was led by Harper Mays, Variety’s social media coordinator, with valuable contributions from Abigail Lee, Variety’s social media and editorial intern.

Variety’s co-editor-in-chief and executive producer of the series, Ramin Setoodeh, expressed pride in the continued success of “Actors on Actors,” highlighting its reputation as one of the most prominent interview series on the internet. Setoodeh commended the team’s dedication to reinventing the franchise, resulting in captivating conversations that have become a must-watch during awards season.

The conversations in this season of “Actors on Actors” were moderated by Daniel D’Addario, Matt Donnelly, Angelique Jackson, Emily Longeretta, and Michael Schneider. The executive producers for the series include Setoodeh, Donna Pennestri, Michelle Merke, and Andrew Russell, with Michelle Sobrino-Stearns serving as the executive-in-charge-of-production. The production team consists of Maris Berzins, Georg Kallert, Diana Nguyen, Rob Schroeder, Katie Adler, and Mark Hayes.

The pairings for this season’s “Actors on Actors” include Colin Farrell & Danny DeVito, Arnold Schwarzenegger & Patrick Schwarzenegger, Dave Chappelle & Mo Amer, Seth Rogen & Jason Segel, Parker Posey & Lisa Kudrow, and many more.
