The Faith & Media Impact Report by Variety is set to return on December 3rd.
This annual list highlights an influential sector of the entertainment world, showcasing creatives from diverse religious backgrounds. These individuals are crafting engaging narratives that center around themes of faith and spirituality, appealing to a wide-ranging audience.
<br The list encompasses filmmakers, writers, creators, studio executives, and others involved in film and television who have contributed significantly to genuine storytelling and coverage of leading world faiths and spirituality over the previous year.
Previous honorees of the Impact Report include notable figures such as Mahershala Ali, Jesse Eisenberg, Jon Erwin & Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten, Sarah & Erin Foster, Sterlin Harjo, and Charley Humbard.
This year’s esteemed list will be featured in the December 3 edition of Variety and will be celebrated at the second annual Variety Faith and Spirituality in Entertainment Honors, graciously presented by the Coalition for Faith and Media (CFAM).
Moreover, the event will pay tribute to individuals who promote the often-overlooked theme of faith in entertainment storytelling with the 2025 Visionary Awards, also presented by CFAM. These awards commend diverse and thoughtful representations of faith and spirituality that resonate widely.
Among past recipients of the Visionary Award are Viola Davis & Julius Tennon, Erica Lipez, Arian Moayed, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Jay Shetty.
