For years, critics on the left have warned that the Trump administration was constructing something akin to concentration camps, decrying the actions of ICE as an “invasion” of American cities. Now, it appears they may have received a demonstration of their fears.

According to a report from ,
On Monday, acting U.S. Attorney Nancy Larson announced that ten individuals are facing attempted murder charges related to a coordinated attack on ICE officers in Alvarado, Texas.
These individuals are reportedly affiliated with an Antifa cell from North Texas.
Per the criminal complaint, the defendants, clad in black military-style attire, initiated their assault by launching fireworks at the facility—a clear indication of an organized effort.
Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy E. Larson emphasized, “Make no mistake, this was not a peaceful protest.”
“This was an ambush on federal and local law enforcement officers. The rising tide of violence against law enforcement will not be tolerated in the Northern District of Texas. Those who resort to violence against law enforcement officers will be pursued and prosecuted under the strictest criminal statutes and penalties available.”
This incident appears to fulfill the narrative many on the left have long propagated. It raises questions about whether their concerns about the treatment of undocumented immigrants overshadow the safety and security of citizens themselves.
