The wife of “Ghost Adventures” host Aaron Goodwin has reached a plea agreement to plead guilty to soliciting a hitman to kill the paranormal TV star, according to recent reports. Victoria Goodwin, 32, submitted the plea agreement to the Clark County District Court on Monday, agreeing to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder, an offense that could result in a two to 10-year prison sentence.
Victoria Goodwin was arrested last month for allegedly contacting an inmate at a Florida prison in 2024 to arrange a murder-for-hire plot targeting her husband. She reportedly messaged the inmate, expressing her desire to end her husband’s life and not pursue a divorce. The plan involved offering $11,515 to pay for the hit and sharing information about Aaron Goodwin’s whereabouts with the inmate to pass along to the supposed hitman.
Although the details of what transpired with the hitman remain unclear, Victoria Goodwin allegedly made a $2,500 down payment to proceed with the murder. The intended target was Aaron Goodwin while he was filming “Ghost Adventures” in California.
The alleged murder-for-hire scheme came to light after Florida corrections officers confiscated the inmate’s phone. Initially, prosecutors charged Victoria Goodwin with both conspiracy and solicitation to commit murder but later dropped the solicitation charge. Following her arrest, Aaron Goodwin promptly filed for divorce, stating that there was no possibility of reconciliation.
Prosecutors have indicated that they will not make any sentencing recommendations for Victoria Goodwin. Her plea hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday, where she is expected to enter her guilty plea for the conspiracy to commit murder charge.
The shocking plot involving the wife of the popular TV personality has garnered significant attention, with fans and followers of “Ghost Adventures” expressing disbelief at the turn of events. As the legal proceedings unfold, the outcome of Victoria Goodwin’s plea agreement will undoubtedly have lasting repercussions on both her personal life and the professional career of Aaron Goodwin.
