Virginia Mori, the talented Italian illustrator, continues to captivate audiences with her visually simple yet conceptually profound artwork. Drawing inspiration from dreams, nightmares, hallucinations, and nature walks, Mori’s creations are a reflection of her inner emotions. Her unique style, characterized by rippling water, nested doorways, and liquefied lenses, exudes a surrealistic charm that sets her apart in the art world.

With a busy year ahead, Mori is currently engaged in various projects, including an animated short film, book illustrations, and preparations for a group exhibition at Blu Gallery in Bologna next month. Additionally, she recently designed a captivating tarot card deck that can be found on Stay-Hop. To stay updated on Mori’s upcoming works, visit her website and follow her on Instagram.

Mori’s artistry is beautifully showcased in her illustrations, where she skillfully captures moments of introspection and mystery. From a drawing of a woman covering her face with gloved hands to a mesmerizing GIF of a figure in a swimsuit gazing at their shadow in rippling water, each piece evokes a sense of wonder and intrigue. In another illustration, a woman with hair shaped like a cube basks on a pool bed, adding a touch of whimsy to Mori’s repertoire.

One of the highlights of Mori’s recent work is her tarot card designs, featuring captivating imagery that blends symbolism with her distinctive aesthetic. From floating heads and swimming shadows to dogs and lobsters under a shining sun, each card tells a unique story that invites viewers to delve into the depths of their subconscious.
