The tragic death of singer Liam Payne has left many questions unanswered, with prosecutors now turning their focus on a waiter named Braian Paiz. Paiz has admitted to using cocaine with the singer, but vehemently denies being a drug dealer or receiving payment for his involvement in Payne’s drug use.
In an upcoming documentary titled “TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who’s to Blame?”, Paiz reveals that he partied with Payne in his Buenos Aires hotel room, where they consumed whiskey and cocaine on two separate occasions. The second instance occurred just two days before Liam’s fatal fall from the hotel balcony.
Paiz describes a scene of drug use in Payne’s hotel room, with drugs scattered everywhere alongside a Dove soap box and tin foil, items that were later seen in photos taken after the singer’s death. Despite their drug use, Paiz insists he never accepted money from Payne and even turned down the star’s offer of a Rolex watch as payment.
Prosecutors are now targeting Paiz and four other men in connection with Payne’s death, with accusations ranging from abandonment to supplying drugs. In addition to Paiz, Liam’s close friend Roger Nores and eyewitness Bret Watson have also been interviewed as part of the investigation.
