The Waleses Set to Move into Their New Forever Home
The Waleses are bidding farewell to Adelaide Cottage, their current residence in Windsor, as Kate has successfully recovered from cancer. Their new abode will be Forest Lodge, a sprawling estate where they plan to create their forever home.
In addition to Forest Lodge, the royal couple also owns Anmer Hall, a 10-bedroom mansion in Norfolk on the Sandringham estate, as well as Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace, London. However, the Waleses have decided to make Forest Lodge their primary residence, embarking on extensive renovations to make it their dream home.
Renovations at Forest Lodge started in June, with new trees and hedgerows being planted and fences added for increased privacy. Planning permission was granted in July for minor internal and external works, including new windows, doors, ceilings, and floors.
Kate, aged 43, has been hands-on in selecting furniture for their new home. Rumor has it that she is considering a grand 24-seater dining table for hosting family gatherings and royal events. A source close to the couple shared, “They want the house to be a perfect blend of a family home and a private sanctuary. Kate is deeply involved in ensuring that it caters to their children and reflects their family’s lifestyle.”
As the Waleses prepare to move into Forest Lodge, they are excited about the new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating unforgettable memories in their forever home.
