In a recent discussion on War Room, Steve Bannon engaged with Senator Josh Hawley regarding a controversial attempt by lawmakers to embed an AI moratorium within the defense bill.
Bannon posed a pointed question: âThey are attempting to reintroduce the moratorium into the NDAA. Could you clarify for our audience why this is a misguided plan, sir?â
Hawley responded decisively, âItâs a poor strategy for the same reasons it has always beenâa decade-long pass for these colossal multinational corporations to operate unchecked.â
He added a stark warning: âThey will seize everything that belongs to youâyour name, your image, your likeness. Itâs all on the table.â
âAnd the troubling part is that this is happening behind closed doors,â Hawley lamented. âIf you’re not on the committee, like Iâm not, youâre left in the dark about the proceedings.â
âThis isn’t merely a moratorium, Steve; itâs essentially a handout to the largest players in the gameâthink Mark Zuckerberg and his peers. Itâs catastrophic,â Hawley cautioned.
Furthermore, Hawley expressed his intention to prohibit Chinese companies from owning U.S. farmland and any private property, asserting that such foreign ownership jeopardizes American sovereignty.
Bannon inquired, âWhat motivates Missouri to take a stand against the Chinese Communist Party?â
âMany young farmers in our state are unable to purchase land. Why? Because Chinese corporations and various shell companies are swooping in and acquiring it all,â he warned.
âWe must enact a ban. No Chinese corporations should own farmland in America. Frankly, I donât want them owning any real estate,â Hawley continued, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.
âFamily farms are being driven out of business, while these massive farms owned by Chinese interests are multiplying unchecked. We have to halt this trend,â Hawley concluded.
