Indian actress Urvashi Rautela has recently extended her best wishes to Team India’s wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant for the ongoing five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series against Australia. This gesture comes after Urvashi found herself in the spotlight a few years ago when she mentioned someone named ‘RP’ waiting for her in a hotel lobby, sparking rumors about their relationship.

Despite the media frenzy surrounding her comments back then, Urvashi has chosen to move past it and support Pant in his cricketing endeavors. In an interview with Filmygyan, when asked to provide a hashtag for Pant, Urvashi simply said, “All the best for Australia.”

In the first Test of the series, Pant scored 37 and 1 as India secured a dominant 295-run victory over Australia in Perth, taking a 1-0 lead in the series. The upcoming second Test is scheduled to be held in Adelaide starting from December 6, with the Indian team also set to play a warm-up match against Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra on November 30.

On a different note, Rishabh Pant made headlines recently for securing a record-breaking deal at the IPL 2025 auction. After being released by Delhi Capitals, Pant entered the auction with a base price of ₹2 crore. Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and SunRisers Hyderabad engaged in a fierce bidding war for Pant, with Lucknow eventually securing his services for a staggering ₹27 crore, making him the most expensive player in IPL history.

Following a successful nine-year stint with Delhi Capitals, Rishabh Pant will now represent Lucknow Super Giants in the upcoming IPL season. The talented cricketer’s career seems to be on an upward trajectory, and fans are eagerly anticipating his performances in the upcoming matches.
