Trump Hits the Road for Early Midterm Campaigning

Former President Donald Trump has been hitting the road once again, thanks to his Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, who is determined to keep him front and center in voters’ minds ahead of the 2026 midterms. With more rallies planned, Wiles, 68, is focused on mobilizing low-propensity voters who are loyal Trump supporters.

Despite playing to a packed crowd, Trump’s recent speeches have been criticized for being meandering and lacking focus. Wiles had specifically instructed him to prioritize economic issues during his campaign-style stump speeches.

During a recent rally, Trump acknowledged the attention his speeches were receiving, stating, “This is being covered, like, all over the world, this is crazy, because I haven’t made a speech in a little while.” He also expressed some reluctance about being back on the road, admitting, “You know, when you win, you say, I can now rest,” in reference to his 2024 victory over Democrat Kamala Harris.

Despite some challenges in staying on message, Trump remains a powerful force in Republican politics. His early campaigning for the 2026 midterms signals his intention to remain a key player in shaping the future of the party.

Stay tuned for more updates on Trump’s campaign trail as he continues to rally his supporters and make his mark on the political landscape.
