This was hardly a surprise.
In a bold move reminiscent of a high-stakes poker game, President Trump declared on Saturday night that the United States had launched airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities.

On Saturday evening, President Trump confirmed that the US had bombed three nuclear sites in Iran. He stated, “Our operation against the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan, has been completed successfully. All planes are now out of Iranian airspace. A complete payload of bombs was deployed at the primary target, Fordow. All aircraft are safely returning home. Kudos to our incredible American Warriors. No other military in the world could have executed this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he announced on Truth Social.
Trump later reiterated on TRUTH social that the Fordow nuclear facility was “no more.”
As many Americans recoiled in shock at the implications of this escalation, a faction of warmongers celebrated the news of the strikes.
Senator Lindsey Graham, a notorious advocate for military intervention, expressed his approval, stating that Trump had followed his counsel by targeting Iranian facilities.
Lindsey Graham: Good. This was the right call. The regime deserves it.

It’s difficult to ignore the unsettling enthusiasm displayed by Graham.
It seems Graham is always on the lookout for the next conflict to embroil the U.S. in. You can set your watch to it.
