Haeran Ryu and Yan Liu got off to a hot start at the Chevron Championship 2025, firing a stellar 7-under 65 to seize the lead after the first round. Trailing closely behind is Hyo Joo Kim, who sits just two strokes back after carding a solid 67 on Day 1 of the tournament.

The Chevron Championship 2025 boasts a field of 133 players, with only the top 66 and ties advancing to the weekend rounds. Currently, the projected cutline stands at 1-over par, putting several notable names at risk of missing the cut.

Defending champion Nelly Korda had a rough start, posting a disappointing 77 in the opening round. She will need a strong performance in the second round to secure her spot for the weekend. Other big names like Charley Hull and Hannah Green are also on the outside looking in, sitting just outside the projected cutline. Lydia Ko is teetering on the edge at 1-over par and is not entirely safe either. Additionally, last week’s winner, Ingrid Lindblad, is facing the possibility of missing the cut as well.

As of now, here is a look at the players currently outside the projected cutline for the Chevron Championship 2025:

– Kate Smith-Stroh, Stephanie Kyriacou, Anna Nordqvist, Aditi Ashok, Ruixin Liu, Narin An, Benedetta Moresco, Jenny Bae, Madelene Sagstrom, Yani Tseng, Allisen Corpuz, Cassie Porter, Pernilla Lindberg, Peiyun Chien, Ryann O’Toole, Bailey Tardy, Celine Boutier, Ingrid Lindblad, Caroline Masson, Yuna Nishimura, Charley Hull, Stacy Lewis, Patty Tavatanakit, Yuka Saso, Jin Hee Im, Nataliya Guseva, Jasmine Suwannapura, Muni He, Arpichaya Yubol, Yahui Zhang, Yealimi Noh, Jing Yan, Chiara Tamburlini, Paula Reto, Kristen Gillman, Wei-Ling Hsu, Jeongeun Lee6, Xiyu Janet Lin, Lottie Woad, Hannah Green, Savannah Grewal, Morgane Metraux, Nelly Korda, Clarisa Temelo, Mary Liu, Saki Baba, Hira Naveed, Moriya Jutanugarn, Jeneath Wong, Brittany Lincicome, Pornanong Phatlum, Asterisk Talley, Wichanee Meechai, and Chayse Gomez.

The competition is fierce, and with the cutline looming, these players will need to bring their A-game in the second round to secure their spot in the weekend rounds of the Chevron Championship 2025.
