New Delhi:

US Vice-President J D Vance praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “special person” during his visit to India with his family. Vance mentioned that his children, especially his eldest son Ewan, had developed a fondness for PM Modi after a warm dinner hosted by him at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence in the Capital. Ewan even expressed a desire to live in India after the delightful experience.

Vance humorously shared that Ewan’s opinion changed after spending time in the sun at the Great Palace in Jaipur, suggesting a move to England instead. Despite the light-hearted moment, Vance expressed admiration for PM Modi’s warmth and recounted a touching gesture when the Prime Minister wished his son Vivek on his birthday during their meeting at the AI Action Summit in Paris.

Impressed by PM Modi’s graciousness and warmth, Vance emphasized the special bond his children share with the Indian Prime Minister, stating that they have only built a rapport with two world leaders – President Trump being the other. Vance commended PM Modi as a serious leader with a long-term vision for India’s prosperity and security.
