The Hartford Insurance Group, Inc. (HIG) is a well-known insurance and financial services company with a market cap of $38.7 billion. Headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut, HIG specializes in property and casualty insurance, group benefits, and mutual funds. As the company gears up to announce its fiscal Q4 earnings for 2025, analysts are optimistic about its performance.

Analysts anticipate HIG to report a profit of $3.08 per share, marking a 4.8% increase from the previous year’s $2.94 per share. Impressively, HIG has consistently surpassed Wall Street’s earnings estimates in the last four quarters, with an EPS of $3.78 in Q3, exceeding forecasts by a significant 20.8%.

For the current fiscal year ending in December, analysts project a profit of $12.44 per share, up 20.8% from the previous year. Looking ahead to fiscal 2026, HIG’s EPS is expected to grow by 4.4% to $12.99. These strong projections reflect the company’s robust financial performance and growth trajectory.

Despite market volatility, shares of HIG have surged by 27.1% over the past 52 weeks, outperforming both the S&P 500 Index and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF. This impressive performance underscores investor confidence in HIG’s business model and growth prospects.

In its recent Q3 earnings report, HIG delivered better-than-expected results, with total revenue increasing by 7.1% year-over-year to $7.2 billion. The company’s core EPS also saw a substantial 49.4% growth from the previous year, reaching $3.78. While the positive results were well-received, HIG’s shares experienced a slight dip of 1.8% in the following trading session.

Wall Street analysts maintain a “Moderate Buy” rating on HIG’s stock, with a mean price target of $144.32, suggesting a 3.9% potential upside from the current levels. Of the 26 analysts covering the stock, 11 recommend “Strong Buy,” two indicate “Moderate Buy,” and 13 suggest “Hold.” This balanced outlook reflects the overall positive sentiment towards HIG’s future prospects.
