WhatsApp is rumored to be working on bringing its long-awaited multi-account support to iPhones, a feature that has been accessible on Android devices since October 2023.
If this rumor holds true, iPhone users will soon have the ability to use two separate WhatsApp accounts on the same device without having to resort to methods like app cloning or using the WhatsApp Business app.
The discovery of this feature was made by WABetaInfo in version 25.2.10.70 of WhatsApp’s iOS beta app. However, it is not yet available to beta testers, indicating that further enhancements are required before a wider rollout can take place.

The introduction of the multi-account feature is aimed at simplifying account management for users by allowing them to log in with different numbers within a single app. When adding a second account, users will have the option to either start afresh with a new setup or link an existing account using a QR code.
This feature will be especially useful for individuals who need to manage personal and professional numbers or for those who own dual SIM phones.
While the exact release date for this feature remains unknown, the ongoing beta testing phase indicates that progress is being made towards making it available to all iPhone users in the near future.
For iPad users, there is also some good news – WhatsApp is finally set to arrive on the iPad platform.
