WhatsApp Will Make it Easier to See When Someone is Typing

WhatsApp is making a subtle yet significant change to its interface that will make it easier for users to see when someone else is typing a message. Currently, when someone is typing a message on WhatsApp, a small text prompt appears at the top of the screen next to the name of the other person. This can be easily missed, especially if you are focused on typing your own message.

However, WhatsApp is now testing a new feature that will display an icon indicating that someone is typing, and moving it to the bottom of the screen. This change makes a lot of sense, as it will be more noticeable and in a more intuitive location for users. The icon will be placed just above the text box, where users typically focus their attention during a chat.

This new feature is currently only available on some Android devices running a WhatsApp beta version. It is expected to be rolled out to all compatible devices in the near future, although an exact timeline has not been announced.

This update will make the messaging experience on WhatsApp more seamless and user-friendly. Users will be able to easily see when someone else is typing a message, allowing for smoother and more efficient conversations.
