Wheelhouse Entertainment, headed by CEO Brent Montgomery, has announced the promotion of Courtney White to president and Glenn Hugill to chief creative officer of the company and president of Wheelhouse Studios. White, who previously managed Butternut, will now oversee all Wheelhouse U.S production labels, including Spoke Studios, Twist, and Wheelhouse DNA. She will also be involved in managing Wheelhouse’s physical production partnerships.
Hugill, who has been with the company since January 2023, will now serve as chief creative officer at Wheelhouse Entertainment and president of Wheelhouse Studios. He will continue to lead the company’s UK operations and focus on developing global formats under the Wheelhouse Studios banner.
Founded by Montgomery and Jimmy Kimmel in 2018, Wheelhouse has recently expanded its business with the launch of Twist, led by Jane Latman, and a minority investment from private equity firm Alignment Growth. White, who previously served as president of Food Network and general manager of HGTV, has been instrumental in the success of Butternut and has overseen various series across different platforms.
Hugill has also played a key role in creating and selling high-profile series for Wheelhouse, including “Million Dollar Secret” and “Got to Get Out.” Montgomery expressed his excitement about the leadership of White and Hugill, praising their ability to develop and execute the company’s most exciting slate of content.
White and Hugill both expressed their enthusiasm for their new roles, highlighting the collaborative and innovative culture at Wheelhouse. They are looking forward to continuing to push boundaries, forge new partnerships, and create hit content that resonates with audiences.
With a focus on collaboration and creativity, Wheelhouse is poised to continue its success in the entertainment industry. The company’s commitment to innovation and strategic partnerships will drive its growth and solidify its position as a leader in the market.
