After her cameo in Superman, Kara Zor-El is set to star in her own standalone movie as Supergirl. The first teaser for the film reveals that Clark Kent’s cousin is not only a fierce warrior but also a fun-loving party girl.
Directed by Craig Gillespie (known for I, Tonya and Cruella) and written by Ana Nogueira (Which Way to the Stage), the movie follows Kara on her birthday as she travels through the galaxy with her loyal dog, Krypto. However, her celebrations are cut short when a tragic event occurs, leading her on a path of vengeance.
Millie Alcock, best known for her role as young Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon, takes on the role of Supergirl in this film. Joining her is Jason Momoa, who will portray Lobo, the infamous assassin and bounty hunter.
As for ticket sales, Warner Bros. Pictures has not yet announced when Supergirl tickets will go on sale. Based on the release pattern of Superman, we can estimate that tickets may become available around one month before the premiere date, which is set for 26 June 2026.
