Beetlejuice 2: The Ghost with the Most Returns

Do you remember the mischievous, striped-suited ghost with a penchant for corny catchphrases? Well, get ready because Beetlejuice is making a comeback! For those who are unfamiliar with this iconic character, now is your chance to meet him this fall.

Beetlejuice, originally released in 1988, was a comedy horror film created by the visionary director Tim Burton. The story follows the adventures of a couple, Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam (Alec Baldwin), who tragically die shortly after moving into their dream home. As ghosts trapped in their own house, they decide to enlist the help of a freelance bio-exorcist named Betelgeuse (played by Michael Keaton) to scare off the new owners, the Deetz family. However, things take a chaotic turn when Betelgeuse decides to take matters into his own hands and attempts to marry the teenage daughter of the Deetz family, Lydia (Winona Ryder).

Despite the supernatural chaos that ensues, everything eventually gets resolved. But now, after 36 years, Beetlejuice is back in Beetlejuice 2 (also known as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice).

The sequel features the return of Tim Burton as the director and Michael Keaton reprising his role as the infamous Betelgeuse. Winona Ryder also makes a comeback as Lydia, who now has a daughter of her own, teenage Astrid, portrayed by Jenna Ortega.

The original Beetlejuice film was known for its dark comedy, gothic aesthetic, and Tim Burton’s signature style of camp and grotesque elements. Fans can expect more of the same in the sequel, which is set to hit theaters this fall.

You can purchase tickets for Beetlejuice 2 from various theater chains, including AMC Theatres, Fandango, Atom Tickets, Cinemark in the US, and Cineworld, Odeon, Vue, Picturehouse, and Showcase in the UK.

Get ready to summon the ghost with the most once again in Beetlejuice 2, a film that promises to bring back the charm and humor of the original while introducing new twists and turns. Don’t miss out on this eagerly awaited sequel that is sure to delight fans old and new alike.
