Meet Georgina Chapman: Adrien Brody’s Talented Girlfriend

Georgina Chapman, the girlfriend of actor Adrien Brody, is a renowned fashion designer known for her exceptional talent and creativity. Her journey in the fashion industry began after she attended Marlborough College in Wiltshire and later studied at the Chelsea College of Art and Design, where she met her future business partner, Keren Craig. After obtaining a degree in costume design from Wimbledon School of Art (now Wimbledon College of Arts) in 2001, Chapman officially launched her career in the world of fashion.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Chapman’s close friend and actor David Oyelowo reminisced about the time she invited him to an art exhibition at her college. He was amazed by her work, particularly her drawings of fashion that stood out among the rest. Impressed by her creativity, Oyelowo asked Chapman to create costumes for his play, The Love of the Nightingale, which was showcased at the Edinburgh Festival.

Describing the costumes that Chapman designed for the play, Oyelowo recalled, “These costumes arrived, made from transparent material with pieces of mirror sewn into them to reflect the light. They were extraordinary and truly stole the show.”
