CrossFit coach Kerrie Olsen is currently on life support after experiencing a serious accident during a recent visit to Mexico.
Olsen was involved in an incident where the golf cart she was riding in with her friend overturned, leading to a traumatic brain injury.
“We were just driving around talking and laughing and just reminiscing,” said Olsen’s best friend, Annie Stagg, in an interview with a local Utah outlet in May 2026. “Next thing you know, we’re in hell.”
After spending several days hospitalized in Mexico, it was confirmed that Olsen was transported back to the United States.
“The medevac and the full medical team got her here safely and kept her stable the entire flight,” according to an update on Olsen’s GoFundMe page. “Her parents and her three kids met them in a private area at the airport, and they were able to spend a little bit of time with her before she was transported to the ICU.”
Olsen remains “on life support and fully sedated,” the update continued, urging friends and supporters to ensure she has a “quiet, controlled environment to heal.”
The GoFundMe page for Olsen aims to raise $500,000, with nearly $100,000 already contributed.
