Born on August 24, 1998, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Miller has been an All-Star pitcher and a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is currently representing Team USA in the World Baseball Classic.

Mason Miller’s professional career
Mason Miller played collegiate baseball for four years at Waynesburg University before being picked by the Oakland Athletics in the third round of the 2021 MLB draft.
He began his MLB career with the Athletics as a starting pitcher in April 2023. Due to injuries in the previous season, he transitioned to a relief pitcher role in 2024.
Miller was chosen as an All-Star in 2024 and ranked fourth in the American League Rookie of the Year voting. The Athletics traded him and JP Sears to the San Diego Padres midway through the 2025 season. Miller made his first postseason appearance with the Padres in Game 1 of the NLWS against the Chicago Cubs.
