Although no formal announcements have been made, it seems probable that Google will organize a special event for Googlebooks, given several factors.
Recently, some Googlebooks have surfaced through leaks, featuring models from Lenovo (shown below), Acer, and Asus. This timing aligns with the transition from summer to the fall launch period.

It’s important to note that Googlebooks were not featured in the recent event, which focused instead on own-brand products such as the Pixel 11.
Several theories propose that the announcement of Googlebooks might occur at IFA 2026, the technology exhibition in Berlin, which begins on 4 September 2026.
This scenario is plausible since Google’s partners, responsible for launching the devices (as Google will not produce its own this time), usually have displays at IFA to present their newest products.
However, not all partners are listed as exhibitors on the official site, and the new devices would need to compete for attention among numerous other brands and products. Even if some brands hold off-site events, the launch effort could still appear fragmented.
