Maggie Baugh has stepped back from Keith Urban’s tour during his divorce from Nicole Kidman.

Baugh is known for her role as a guitarist in Urban’s High and Alive World Tour, which launched earlier this year. Their artistic journey began in 2024 when Urban invited her to play alongside him at the CMT Music Awards. This sparked a collaboration that led to Baugh joining Urban’s band for his subsequent tour.

In a vlog from September 2025, Baugh humorously remarked, “Nobody in this airport knows I performed for 21,000 people in a stadium yesterday with Keith Urban. Someone pinch me! What a dream!”

Following the announcement of Urban and Kidman’s separation in September, old concert footage caught the public’s eye, igniting speculation about a possible affair between Urban and Baugh. Clips emerged showing Urban altering the lyrics of his song “The Fighter,” originally written for Kidman, while highlighting Baugh, which only added fuel to the rumors.

Baugh’s father has publicly dismissed the affair rumors on Facebook, stating, “NO. Just No.”

Although Baugh hasn’t commented on the speculations, past comments about her choice to steer clear of relationships with fellow musicians have resurfaced. She once noted, “There’s always been a rule you can’t date band members because what if we break up?” during a 2017 interview with Piper’s Picks.

Urban also hasn’t spoken out about the mounting online speculation surrounding his bond with Baugh.

However, Urban has opted to exclude “The Fighter” from his setlist moving forward. Meanwhile, Baugh did not partake in his concert following Kidman’s divorce filing. She also promoted her new song, “The Devil Win,” which was released on October 10.

Leading up to the song’s launch, Baugh provided a sneak peek of the track, addressing the struggle of managing “feelings.”

She shared, “I don’t know what I believe in / I don’t know how to heal my soul / Or how to fight this feeling and it’s a damn good place to go / No matter how close I get to the burning edge / Tempting as it is, I won’t let the Devil win,” in an Instagram video posted on October 9.

Keep reading for details on why Baugh will miss more of Urban’s shows:
