Maggie Baugh has stepped back from Keith Urbanâs tour during his divorce from Nicole Kidman.
Baugh is known for her role as a guitarist in Urbanâs High and Alive World Tour, which launched earlier this year. Their artistic journey began in 2024 when Urban invited her to play alongside him at the CMT Music Awards. This sparked a collaboration that led to Baugh joining Urbanâs band for his subsequent tour.
In a vlog from September 2025, Baugh humorously remarked, âNobody in this airport knows I performed for 21,000 people in a stadium yesterday with Keith Urban. Someone pinch me! What a dream!â
Following the announcement of Urban and Kidmanâs separation in September, old concert footage caught the publicâs eye, igniting speculation about a possible affair between Urban and Baugh. Clips emerged showing Urban altering the lyrics of his song âThe Fighter,â originally written for Kidman, while highlighting Baugh, which only added fuel to the rumors.
Baughâs father has publicly dismissed the affair rumors on Facebook, stating, âNO. Just No.â
Although Baugh hasnât commented on the speculations, past comments about her choice to steer clear of relationships with fellow musicians have resurfaced. She once noted, âThereâs always been a rule you canât date band members because what if we break up?â during a 2017 interview with Piperâs Picks.
Urban also hasnât spoken out about the mounting online speculation surrounding his bond with Baugh.
However, Urban has opted to exclude âThe Fighterâ from his setlist moving forward. Meanwhile, Baugh did not partake in his concert following Kidmanâs divorce filing. She also promoted her new song, âThe Devil Win,â which was released on October 10.
Leading up to the songâs launch, Baugh provided a sneak peek of the track, addressing the struggle of managing âfeelings.â
She shared, âI donât know what I believe in / I donât know how to heal my soul / Or how to fight this feeling and itâs a damn good place to go / No matter how close I get to the burning edge / Tempting as it is, I wonât let the Devil win,â in an Instagram video posted on October 9.
