This decision follows the company’s successful performance in the Federal Reserve’s stress test. Additionally, the company plans to proceed with share repurchases as part of its $5 billion buyback program.

Currently, U.S. Bancorp offers a quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share with a dividend yield of 4.32% as of July 27. The company has a track record of raising its payouts for 14 consecutive years.
