A whistleblower bravely came forward with text messages that exposed FEMA official Marn’i Washington’s discriminatory orders to relief workers in Florida. The messages revealed that relief workers were told to intentionally bypass homes with Trump signs following Hurricane Milton.
According to internal communications obtained by The Daily Wire, FEMA officials engaged in biased practices by neglecting Trump supporters in need of assistance in the wake of recent hurricanes that struck the Southeast region.

Reports indicated that relief workers were instructed to record no contact with residents of homes displaying Trump signs, citing the directive as “Trump sign, no contact per leadership,” as per The Daily Wire’s investigation.
Whistleblowers say that relief workers were told it was “best practice” to pass over houses “advertising Trump.”

Marn’i Washington’s callous actions led to at least 20 homes of Americans in need being overlooked by FEMA relief efforts. Her blatant disregard for the well-being of citizens based on their political affiliations sparked outrage and condemnation.
Subsequently, Marn’i Washington was removed from her position at FEMA. A spokesperson stated, “While we believe this is an isolated incident, we have taken measures to remove the employee from their role and are investigating the matter to prevent this from happening ever again.”
