Boulder County officials issued an evacuation warning for Chautauqua Park following the outbreak of a wildfire near Bluebell Canyon, as reported by fire officials on Saturday afternoon. The fire, known as the Bluebell fire, has burned approximately half an acre.
Firefighters from Boulder Fire Rescue quickly responded to the fire southwest of the park and began dousing the flames with water. The wildfire dispatch program WildCAD confirmed the name of the fire as the Bluebell fire.

The evacuation warning for Chautauqua Park was issued at 1:25 p.m., with boundaries marked by Baseline Road to the north, 13th Street to the east, and Flagstaff Road to the west.
