Will Poulter and Odessa Young have officially signed on to star in the upcoming Netflix series “Rabbit, Rabbit,” a thrilling hostage drama led by Adam Driver, who also serves as executive producer.
In the series, Driver portrays an escaped convict who finds himself trapped by law enforcement at a truck stop. Desperate for freedom, he takes hostages in a high-stakes attempt to negotiate his release. What starts as a tense standoff quickly evolves into a complex social experiment and a battle of wits with a seasoned FBI crisis negotiator, played by Regina Hall.
Poulter, known for his standout performances in FX’s “The Bear” and Hulu’s “Dopesick,” as well as films like “Midsommar” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” joins the cast in a yet-to-be-announced role. Meanwhile, Young, fresh off her roles in “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” and “Black Rabbit,” brings her talent to the series in a pivotal role.
“Rabbit, Rabbit” is created by Peter Craig, who also serves as the showrunner. The series is produced by Night Owl Stories, helmed by Craig and Bryan Unkeless, as well as It’s All Made Up Productions, led by director Philip Barantini and Samantha Beddoe. Driver, in addition to his starring role, also serves as an executive producer on the project. The studio behind the series is MRC, with whom Craig and Night Owl Stories have a first-look deal.
