WIN Sports Group has appointed veteran agent Brent Hamilton as a partner to spearhead a new golf division, indicating the company’s plans to expand its representation beyond football talent.

“Brent has an exceptional eye for identifying talent before the rest of the industry catches on, and WIN Golf reflects a fundamental shift in how this sport’s athletes should be supported,” said Patrick Whitesell, founder and CEO of WIN Sports Group, in a statement. “We’re building this platform from the ground up to align with how these athletes actually live and compete. WIN Golf is a single ecosystem where tour strategy, content, endorsements, and long-term business development all talk to each other from day one.”

WIN Sports Group emerged from the football business of WME Sports, which had to be divested after Silver Lake took WME’s parent company, Endeavor, private last year. This move was necessitated by Egon Durban, a senior executive at Silver Lake, acquiring a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. NFL rules prevent a team owner from having business relationships with entities representing players. At WIN Sports Group, Patrick Whitesell serves as the founder and CEO, with Jason Lublin as president and partner.

Recently, the company recruited renowned football agent Josh Pyatt, known for managing the careers of prominent figures such as LeBron James and Michael Strahan.

Hamilton’s impressive client list includes Min Woo Lee, a PGA Tour winner and 2024 Australian Olympian, as well as his sister Minjee Lee, a leading player in women’s golf. He also manages recent PGA Tour victor Ricky Castillo and promising talents John Pak and Eric Lee. Hamilton joins WIN Sports Group following a 12-year tenure at WME.

“I’ve spent my career working with players early and helping them become the best versions of themselves, professionally and personally,” Hamilton said in a statement. “WIN is the right home for this next chapter because it’s not a traditional agency. Working alongside Patrick and Jason means putting athletes first, supported by a platform that opens doors across sports, entertainment, and business to create opportunities that truly fit today’s golfers and their futures.”
