A woman caused a stir at the Pittsburgh Steelers-New York Jets game when she ran onto the field with a sign supporting Donald Trump while the former president looked on from the VIP box.
The unidentified female fan made her way onto the field at Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium during Sunday’s game with a sign that read, “Trump, secure border. Kamala open border.”
Despite receiving cheers from the crowd, the interruption was not broadcasted on NBC. Security quickly apprehended her at the 40-yard line and escorted her out of the stadium.
Trump, who was present in the VIP box, did not acknowledge the fan’s actions but waved to fans as they cheered. Social media footage showed Trump pumping his fist as the crowd chanted “U-S-A.”
Trump’s visit to Pittsburgh was part of his campaign trail, where he also rallied with former Steelers stars Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, who endorsed him. The Steelers clarified that Trump was a guest of a suite holder, not the team.
Following the game, Trump expressed gratitude to Steelers fans on Truth Social, calling November 5th the most important day in the country’s history. The Steelers improved to a 5-2 record with the win, while the Jets fell to 2-5.
Earlier in the day, Trump was spotted working as a fry cook at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, adding to the eventful day for the former president.
