A woman in Logan Square was sexually assaulted on Tuesday evening by a man who followed her as she walked home from a CTA Blue Line station. The incident took place around 6:45 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Kedzie Avenue, according to Chicago police.
The victim had been walking from the Logan Square Blue Line station at 2620 North Milwaukee Avenue when the perpetrator approached her from behind. The man knocked her to the ground and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene on foot. He was last seen heading south on Kedzie towards Logan Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a Black man between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighing around 170 pounds. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black hooded jacket, dark pants, and black gym shoes. Additionally, he had mismatched gloves on his hands – a black one on his left hand and a purple one on his right hand.
