An 18-Year-Old Woman Sentenced to Seven Years in Colorado’s Youthful Offender System for Shooting Incident Outside Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row
An 18-year-old woman, Keanna Rosenburgh, has been sentenced to seven years in Colorado’s Youthful Offender System after injuring five people in a shooting incident outside Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Denver. The incident took place on the night of September 16, 2023, when Rosenburgh, who was 17 at the time, was denied entry into a LoDo bar and began shooting into the crowd, as reported by Denver police.
Rosenburgh pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree attempted murder and a violent crime sentence enhancer as part of a plea deal in September. In exchange, twenty-seven charges were dropped. In addition to the seven-year sentence in the Youthful Offender System, Rosenburgh was also given a suspended 21-year sentence in the Colorado Department of Corrections, which she will avoid serving if she successfully completes the Youthful Offender System sentence and fulfills all terms.
As of Wednesday night, Rosenburgh’s attorney could not be reached for comment. This is a developing story and may be updated. To receive daily crime news updates, sign up to get crime news sent straight to your inbox.
