The suspects are described as three Black women. One was wearing a black jacket, pink pants, and white gym shoes, while another was dressed in a pink jacket, black pants, and white and gray gym shoes. The third suspect had a nose ring and was wearing a black jacket and light blue jeans.

CWBChicago, a local news outlet, was founded in 2013 by residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who were frustrated with the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing meetings. The outlet has since expanded its coverage to include areas like Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side neighborhoods, with a focus on providing original public safety reporting with more context and detail than mainstream media outlets.
