Then came Abby Phillip’s remarks on CNN, via Mediaite:
Abby Phillip from CNN called out former President Barack Obama, noting his conspicuous omission of credit to President Donald Trump for his role in brokering a peace deal between Israel and Hamas. Phillip argued that if Obama was to comment on the peace deal, crediting the sitting president might have been a reasonable gesture.
These comments were made during a segment on CNN’s Table for Five on Saturday morning.
“It’s not unreasonable to suggest that if President Obama is going to write an entire post about a peace deal, he should recognize the president who facilitated it,” she stated.
