CWBChicago was founded in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Our coverage has since expanded to include areas like Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side neighborhoods, but our commitment to delivering original public safety reporting with depth and detail remains steadfast.
