White Suits Steal the Show at the 2025 Met Gala
At the 2025 Met Gala, the dress code “Tailored for You” brought out some of the chicest and sleekest looks of the night, with white suits taking center stage. Actress Anna Sawai, known for her role in Shōgun, made a statement in a simple yet elegant Dior suit in a soft cloud hue.
Zendaya also opted for a white suit, designed by Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton, featuring elongated bootcut pant legs and a waistcoat paired with an oversized necktie. Madonna brought a touch of vintage flair in an antique white tuxedo by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, complete with a cigar and white rose brooch.
Mary J. Blige went for a more casual approach in a white pantsuit and overcoat by Stella McCartney, accessorized with a wire fedora and layered necklaces. Model Imaan Hammam showcased an hourglass-sculpted white suit topped off with an ostrich feather hat.
On the men’s side, photographer Tyler Mitchell stood out in a regal Wales Bonner white suit with cobalt blue accents and a feather boa. Christian Latchman, featured on the cover of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” catalog, rocked a white suit with a pleated train.
