Eighteen People Shot in Chicago Over the Weekend, Four Dead

Over the weekend, a total of eighteen people were shot in various incidents across Chicago, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. The victims, comprised of 16 men and 2 women, ranged in age from 15 to 55 years old.

Despite the rise in shootings, this weekend stands out as one of the less violent weekends in the city this year and represents the lowest total for the same timeframe since 2018 when only eight people were shot.
