Tragedy struck on Christmas Eve in Aurora as two individuals lost their lives and three others were wounded in a shooting at an apartment complex. The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Billings Street, prompting a swift response from the Aurora police.

The victims of the shooting were identified as a 41-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man who tragically did not survive. The three individuals who sustained injuries were an 18-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman, and another 41-year-old woman.

According to preliminary investigations, the shooting appears to have involved individuals who were acquainted with each other. As of now, authorities have not released any information about potential suspects and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
