Earth Partner, Art Partner’s sustainability division, in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), recently announced the winners of the 2025 Earth Partner Prize. This contest invited artists aged 14-30 to submit artwork exploring climate and environmental themes from diverse perspectives in preparation for the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2025 (UNFCCC COP 30).

Artists from over 110 countries participated in the competition, sparking discussions on topics ranging from eco-anxiety to community resilience, waste management to the juxtaposition of devastation and hope. The virtual exhibition, powered by Voyager360, showcased a collection of works that highlighted global voices often overlooked in conversations about art and climate. GEF CEO and Chairperson Carlos Manuel RodrĂguez emphasized the importance of amplifying voices from communities with valuable insights into environmental challenges.

The winners of the 2025 Earth Partner Prize include Apah Benson, Abandokht Tohidi Moghadam, Kyaw Zay Yar Lin, Yi Song, Ruby Okoro, Igor Furtado and Labō Young, Andreu Esteban Sebastiá, and Tianxiao Wang. A selection of their works was featured at the Climate Funds pavilion during the COP in Belém, Brazil.

Apah Benson from Nigeria took home the 1st Place prize of $10,000 for his piece titled “THE LAST OF US.” The artwork, which explores themes of environmental degradation and human impact on nature, captivated audiences with its powerful message. Benson’s work serves as a poignant reminder of the urgent need to address climate change and protect our planet for future generations.

The Earth Partner Prize continues to be a platform for young artists to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire action. Through their creative expressions, these artists are driving conversations about sustainability and the importance of preserving our planet. Congratulations to all the winners of the 2025 Earth Partner Prize for their outstanding contributions to the global dialogue on climate and the environment.
