3 injured in shooting near Denver School of the Arts

Three Injured in Sunday Night Shooting in Denver’s Park Hill Neighborhood

Authorities reported that three individuals sustained injuries in a shooting incident on Sunday night at the border of Denver’s Park Hill and East Colfax neighborhoods.

Law enforcement officers are currently conducting an investigation into the shooting that occurred near Montview Boulevard and Quebec Street, directly across from Denver School of the Arts. The Denver Police Department shared details about the incident in a post on X at 9:43 p.m. on Sunday.

The specific location of the shooting is situated just five blocks north of East Colfax Avenue and is surrounded by various schools, residences, bus stops, and an apartment complex.

Emergency medical services transported the three victims to nearby hospitals; however, the severity of their injuries remains unknown at this time.

The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, with authorities actively working to identify a suspect as of Sunday. As of Monday morning, no arrests had been made in connection to the incident.
