The Dallas Stars suffered a tough 4-0 shutout loss to the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4 at Ball Arena on Saturday night. MacKenzie Blackwood stood tall in net for the Avalanche, recording his first postseason shutout. The series is now deadlocked at 2-2, with both teams eager to gain the upper hand in Game 5.

Logan O’Connor, Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, and Samuel Girard all found the back of the net for the Avalanche. Jake Oettinger started in goal for the Stars but was replaced by Casey DeSmith during the second intermission after making 31 saves.

Here are the three least impressive players for the Dallas Stars in their Game 4 defeat to the Colorado Avalanche:

### 3. Tyler Seguin

Tyler Seguin had a forgettable performance in Game 4, failing to register a shot on goal in nearly 12 minutes of ice time. Despite winning 83% of his faceoffs, Seguin was unable to make a significant impact on the game. The Avalanche effectively neutralized his offensive threat with their physical play.

### 2. Thomas Harley

Thomas Harley, who has been a reliable defenseman for the Stars, struggled in Game 4. He finished the game with a minus-2 rating in almost 24 minutes of ice time. Harley managed just two shots on goal and was unable to provide much-needed offensive support from the blue line.

### 1. Mikko Rantanen

Mikko Rantanen continues to struggle for the Dallas Stars, recording just one shot on goal in over 19 minutes of ice time. The winger has failed to generate much offense against his former team, with only one assist in the series so far. Rantanen will need to step up in Game 5 if the Stars hope to take a crucial 3-2 series lead.

The Stars will have a chance to bounce back in Game 5 as they face off against the Avalanche once again in Dallas. The winner of the pivotal Game 5 will move one step closer to advancing to the second round of the playoffs.

The Dallas Stars will need their key players to step up and deliver in Game 5 to regain control of the series. With the stakes high, the pressure will be on the Stars to perform at their best and secure a crucial victory.
