National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day: Honoring ICE and Law Enforcement

On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, the Trump Administration takes a moment to salute the courageous individuals within ICE and the broader law enforcement community who risk their lives to safeguard America. Meanwhile, the Radical Left Democrats appear to have taken a different approach, ramping up their barrage of scathing and incendiary rhetoric against these frontline defenders, labeling them as Nazis, terrorists, and Gestapo agents, all while seemingly encouraging their fervent supporters to resort to violence.

Democratic Leaders’ Critique of ICE

As ICE continues its mission to protect our sovereignty and communities, we present a list of 57 instances where Democratic leaders have disparaged and incited division against these officers:

  1. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz characterized ICE as a “public threat,” branding them “reckless” and suggesting that the state is at “war” with these federal officers, even likening them to the “modern-day Gestapo.”
  2. California Gov. Gavin Newsom compared ICE to “secret police,” labeling them “authoritarian” and calling for a public “push back.”
  3. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker asserted that ICE is transforming the U.S. into “Nazi Germany.”
  4. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul accused ICE of “terrorizing the public.”
  5. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro claimed ICE makes neighborhoods less secure.
  6. Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan described ICE officers as agents of “chaos and terror.”
  7. Sen. Chuck Schumer stated that ICE “should not operate in our neighborhoods.”
  8. Sen. Tina Smith called ICE “a clear and present danger.”
  9. Sen. John Hickenlooper characterized ICE as “a reign of terror.”
  10. Sen. Jeff Merkley compared ICE operations to “fascism,” claiming the officers are merely “terrorizing communities.”
  11. Sen. Bernie Sanders urged the public to “stop ICE from its actions immediately.”
  12. Sen. Elizabeth Warren stated that ICE is “deliberately instilling fear” and “dividing communities.”
  13. Sen. Ruben Gallego asserted that ICE’s purpose is to “intimidate the American populace.”
  14. Sen. Mark Warner equated ICE officers with a brutal dictatorship.
  15. Sen. Dick Blumenthal accused ICE of promoting “lawlessness and irresponsibility.”
  16. Sen. Alex Padilla alleged that ICE engages in “indiscriminate violence.”

  18. Rep. Ilhan Omar described ICE as “state violence,” labeling officers as “cruel and vile” and advocating for more than just abolishing ICE.

  20. Rep. Eric Swalwell referred to ICE officers as “masked thugs” and “terrorizing bandits,” insisting they should be “unmasked.”
  21. Rep. Jasmine Crockett compared ICE to “slave patrols” and branded them “thugs.”
  22. Rep. Delia Ramirez designated ICE as “the greatest threat to public safety today,” condemning them as “a terror force.”
  23. Rep. Summer Lee claimed ICE is “out of control” and represents a “police state.”
  24. Rep. Ayanna Pressley asserted ICE is a “rogue, violent agency” that “has no place in our communities” and must be abolished.
  25. Rep. Mark Pocan demanded ICE “remove themselves from our cities.”
  26. Rep. April McClain Delaney described ICE as “lawless.”
  27. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized ICE as an “anti-civilian force” and stated that it “should not exist.”

  44. Rep. Gil Cisneros alleged that ICE has “terrorized” individuals through “racial profiling.”
  45. Rep. Lauren Underwood charged ICE with “spreading fear” and “violently snatching individuals from our streets.”
  46. Rep. Steve Cohen criticized “out-of-control” ICE officers for “misusing their authority.”
  47. Rep. Joaquin Castro labeled ICE as “a rogue organization” that “should be disbanded.”
  48. Rep. Maxine Waters declared that ICE is causing “chaos and death.”
  49. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey demanded ICE “get out” of the city, accusing them of “terrorizing our communities.”
  50. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani stated that ICE enforcement “attacks us all.”
  51. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson accused ICE of being “secret police” who are “terrorizing our communities,” referring to them as a “lawless, racist force.”
  52. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu compared ICE officers to a neo-Nazi group.
  53. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass dismissed violent anti-ICE protests as akin to a “Lakers championship” celebration.
  54. New Jersey State Sen. Britnee Timberlake threatened that ICE officers “will find themselves in the same position as those who carried out illegal acts in Nazi Germany.”
  55. Minneapolis City Council Member Robin Wonsley alleged that ICE is conducting “terrorist attacks.”
  56. Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn called ICE “dangerous.”
  57. Cudahy (California) Vice Mayor Cynthia Gonzalez urged local gangs to “organize” against ICE.
